Garissa County

A roomer is just a roomer till it is denied. No one would have taken Jirongo seriously had State House just kept mum. We now have strong reasons to believe that there are some truth in the whole thing.

Good synopsis of the county.
There is so much work to be done especially in poverty eradication. My only concern is that setting the headquarters at Kapsowar will keep the heartbeat of county away from the conduit of what will soon develop to be a network of commercial centres.

Ideally, Iten would serve better. It is connected to other urban centres [Eldoret, Kabarnet, etc] which will prove to be vital if the county has to position itself for economic growth. I also believe that the first focus of the county government should be to bave [tarmack] the Iten-Kapsowar-Tot road, then the Cheptongei-Kitale. After these two, Flourspar-Tot road. Then Chepkorio Iten Road, These roads will then open up the county for economic growth.
