Homa Bay County

Good governance which encourages local participation both in decision making and policy implementation will make Homa Bay County to rank among the bests in terms of achieving the the objects of devolution.All that are interested to be the representatives of willing masses in this county must be ready to deliver nothing less but the the best.It may seem unfortunate that it is something new,however,not even a single day should be spent in trials and errors.Expectations are high as we wait to usher in the first county government and we pray that it be one with a deeper understanding why MAN decide to adopt in practice the principle of governance and even more why such at some point needed to be devolved.It is actually to set a minimum mark and goal for the future governments,so they have the biggest task to make the history.

We are still behind as a county,who will save our county

Dr, Mark Matunga, I salute you. Continue with the good work you’re doing with regard to promoting and assisting with computers in schools in homa bay county. As for Hon. Oyugi Magwanga, MP Kasipul Kabondo, indications that the constituency is  among the best in CDF use and accountability is very encouraging. I commend you for providing effective  leadership

Our current MPs have done a good job though some areas like the number of colleges,health centers,safe and clean water points,self employment initiatives still lag behind and we need to improve on.Mr.Ogindo of Rangwe has done more than what all the Mps since independent combined can’t march.As a youth at 27 a want to polish the work and take Homa bay to great heights in development. i need your support and ideas to be the next MP.

Great work with this initiative. Hon.Mr Shem Ochuodho, keep it up with your team. We’re behind you all the way. I have signed up as a voter and I hope to vote at our embassy here in the Netherlands. We can all the ‘unbwogable’ wave of the Diaspora this time round!

it is high time that we need to put a critical focus on our county to realize our vision as homabay residents.rumors advised me that we are the poorest countrywide in exception of those counties in north eastern but look, i have no contention at such to refute such statements. in my own small way, i feel its coz we have been in the opposition for so long and hence weve only received no support from the national government toppled up with problems of high population growth, hiv aids, illiteracy, jealousy, bad governance, women oppression and the inability to obtain loans among others.
as visionary people, let us elect Raila Odinga with one voice and others like Cyprian Awiti…people with ideological clarity, intellectual vigor and commitment to a progressive agenda for our county. lastly i salute the following outstanding leaders:Okello Kwanya of kakdhimu,Opondo Kaluma of Homabay and Agostino Neto of ndhiwa…God bless you all!
