Having these in our mind then it is wrong to take people who are academically low to handle a task of that magnitude and end results we shall have poor laws that might not help the people of Kenya and instead affect their life’s. Kasipul and Kabondo constituencies must be renamed Oyugis West and East respectively. we are tired of clan politics. It was the malicious elders who suggested the name when Oyugis division was curved out off karachuonyo constituency in 1988. Please IEBC are you aware that 2 wards of Kasipul clan are still combined with Kabondo clan in what you named Kabondo constituency. There are many Luo clans residing in this place including those with Gusii origin like Wanjare, Muksero etc. Furthermore, the number of so called immigrants almost out ways the number of Kabondo clan in Kabondo country. You must now know that since 1988, elections in this constituency have been Kasipul/Kabondo vs immigrants, then Kasipul vs Kabondo. To make the matter worse, clanism is likely to be a menace in counties. Clan names should be restricted to wards please. Generally in Nyanza, we were expecting our constituencies to bear names like Ukwala, Ugunja, Usonga, Yala, Maseno/Kombewa, Nyabondo, Oyugis East, Oyugis West, Kendu Bay, Winam/ Homa Bay, Mbita, Gwasii, Migori East, Migori West, Kehancha, Ntimaru, Nyamarambe, Ogembo, Kenyenya/Nyacheki, Nyamache, Masiimba/Masaba, Manga/Keroka, Nyamusi, Mosocho, Marani etc. Isaac Hassan, do the necessary please.
