Kenya Law Reform Commission – KLRC was established in 1982. The functions of KLRC include receiving proposals for law reform, preparing for the AG programmes on various branches of law and examining approved programmes by the AG and formulation of draft Bills.

The commission’s mission is to contribute to reform, harmonization and simplification of laws. To strengthen its role, the Kenya Law Reform Commission Bill is has been drafted for debate in Parliament.
