National Anti-Corruption Campaign Steering Committee
It was established in 2004. The objective of the committee is to spearhead anti-corruption education, attitude and culture change. The committee’s history dates back to the launch of the National Anti-Corruption Plan by President Kibaki in 2003. An interim committee was set up in August of the same year to design the campaign
The committee has a broad mandate: Establishing a framework for a nationwide campaign against corruption, changing attitudes towards corruption, mobilizing stakeholders for an anti-corruption culture and the fight against the vice and developing programmes that strengthen the fight against corruption.
