In addition, we have brains in this county. A lot of progress. This is a county with big shoulders, educated with great people. Remember the speaker, he comes from here. Let’s unite and move Kenya forward, not just counties but stand tall in all we do. Support less fortunate and stop being self centered and boastful. Treat others right! Do all these and you’ll love Kenya.

am highly disappointed with data above especially on teacher-student ratio….let us be accurate in order to get good services and not please our masters or other people for selfish interests.I have been to public schools in this great county and i can i assure you these figures are not true.

A good start. There is need to have all the data and information at our finger tips. For instance actual number of male and female in kakamega east, their age, lists of primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities.number of NGO’s, infrustures such as public libraries in every district/constituency,Number of employed and non employed, graduants in specific specialised areas and those areas the county doesn’t have. This will help in planning of the county as we start off.Kudos for now.

We can do more as a county on partnering with a country like France so that we can develop our strong areas like music, drama, rugby, soccer, etc all.

I call upon all Kakamega County individuals to be united in all areas of life. Let us learn from one another in terms of development and from other Counties so as we can grow and do forget the issue of poverty. More so let us give our maker ( GOD OUR CREATOR) the first priority and in everything let us not depend on our own understanding. Education is the key to life, “ARISE KAKAMEGA COUNTY INDIVIDUALS FOR OUR LIGHT HAS COME TO DO AWAY WITH POVERTY and emerge the BEST COUNTY ACADEMICALLY, so far.” Clare. S.T.T.C.

is it possible to have email address and phone numbers?

  • Gilbert Mayabi

We need Doctors to reduce the mortality rate in Kakamega. The doctor to population rate ratio 1:14, 246 is not appealing.

Why do they say Moi was straight? I understand the reason for the divorce is that Lena found him in a compromising position with some guy.
