Thembi Seete Biography
Thembi Seete was born on 25th March 1977 in Soweto, Gauteng in South Africa. She is a musician, actress and television presenter. She is a former member of the Kwaito Supergroup Boom Shaka.
Thembi Seete Career in music
From 1994 she was a member of the Kwaito Supergroup Boom Shaka until the group broke in 2000. She launched her solo career in music after the group broke.

Thembi Seete Career in Acting
She began her career in acting in the Hard hitting SABC 1 drama series Yizo Yizo. In 2000 she featured in a film- Hijack Stories.
She played the role of Lerato in the first two seasons of the SABC 1 drama series Gaz’lam from 2002 – 2004 and made a final guest appearance in the show’s thid season premiere, entilted “Ghosts of the Past”, which aired on 18th February 2005.

In 2005 she played the role of Pumla in the TV movie ‘Crossing the Line’. In 2006 she landed the leading role of Nina Moloi in the SABC1 soccer drama series Zone 14, which she continued to play for four seasons.
In January 2006 she played the guest starring role of Lily, a young kwaito legend making a comeback who is brutally murdered, in an episode of the SABC1 drama series Mtunzini.com. The title of the episode was “Lily” (Season 1, Episode 3).
She was one of the seven choirmasters for the Mzansi Magic reality competition ‘Clash of the Choirs South Africa, which aired in 2013.
In 2015 she joins e.tv soapie Rhythm City as Bongi, a drug addicted former superstar who has hit rock bottom and lost everything.
Thembi Seete – Televison Presenter
She presented the SABC1 music dance show Jika Majika for the first 10 seasons. In 2013 she hosted Mzansi Magic/Mzansi Wethu reality show Nguwe Na?, in which singles compete for a chance to win a date. She hosted the second season in 2014 as well.
She was also a guest presenter at the 6th annual Crown Gospel Music Awards, which aired live for the first time on SABC2 on Sunday 17 November, 2013.
Thembi Seete Boyfriend/ Fiance
Her fiance is Pendry ‘Bobo’ Seritsane who is a Denim Vocalist. The couple got engaged in 2012 but they have not gotten married Thembi said that she is the one who delayed the marriage.
“I delayed setting a wedding date because I’ve realised that marriage isn’t about the wedding ceremony or a ring on my finger, it’s about the connection you build with your partner,” she told True Love magazine
“It was obviously awkward at first to have the conversation with Bo… that I didn’t want to get married too soon after getting engaged.
