Kenya School of Law (KSL) is the only bar school in Kenya. After their completion of an Undergraduate Degrees in Law from a recognized university, students attend the Kenya School of Law to be prepared for admission to the Kenyan Bar.

Kenya School of Law was established as a law vocational training school in 1963. However, the establishment of Faculties of Law in East African universities led to a need to change the training offered at. It was re-established as in 1995 to provide the Advocates Training Program which focused on the preparation of young lawyers for entry into the legal profession.

Kenyatta University School  of Law is a branch of the Kenyatta University housed in the Parklands Campus of Kenyatta University. It is located in the idyllic suburbs of the City of Nairobi in Parklands on Chemelil Road off Kolobot Road. It is also near Stima Plaza and adjacent to Sirona Hotel and can be approached from Kipande, Limuru, or Forest Roads.

The Location of the School not only provides a serene and secure environment conducive for learning and living, but it is also easily accessible both by public and private means given its close proximity to Nairobi’s Central Business District. The School opened its doors for the first time to an initial 124 students on 12 May 2008 and was officially launched on 27 November 2009 at a colourful ceremony graced by the then Honourable Attorney General, Mr. Amos Wako, as the Chief Guest, with our Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olive Mugenda as the Chief Host.

University of Nairobi school of Law is a branch of University of Nairobi which specializes in the study of Law.The school was officially started in 1970 and a falcuty was established to run a national training Programme for the legal profession, leading to the degree of Bachelor of Laws (LL.B).
