Mohamed Abduba Dida-Biography
Mohamed Abduba Dida was born in Wajir Town, District in 1975 to a Borana Father and Somali Mother.He was one of the presidential candidate in the year 2013 on an Alliance for Real Change party ticket.He previously taught English Literature and Religion at Lenana School and Daadab Secondary School at the refugee camp. He garnered 52,848 votes representing 0.43% of the popular vote.
Mohamed Abduba Dida was appointed as the chairman of the Constituency Development Fund which was later revorked by the President Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration due to angry reaction of the MP stating that Under the CDF Act 2013, only the Cabinet Secretary for matters dealing with CDF (Devolution in this case) has powers to appoint a chair of the board from among members who have been vetted by Parliament.
Mohamed Abduba Dida went to Laheley Primary school
He later proceeded to Sabunley Secondary school.
He then joined Kigumo Teachers college for a Diploma certificate.
He has a Degree in Education from Kenyatta University
Masters Degree in Philosophy and Religious Education from University of Nairobi.
He has has taught at Sabunley Secondary School, Wajir High school, Wajir Girls Secondary School, English Literature and Religion at Daadab Secondary School at the refugee camp , Lenana school and Nairobi school. He resigned from teaching in 2009 to venture into business.
He flied the presidential flag of Alliance for Real Change (ARK) Kenyan political party founded in 2010 but registered in 2012.Mohammed Abduba Dida became a candidate in the March 2013 Kenyan Presidential election with (ARK) party.
He is happily married to 3 wives i.e Amina, Estail and Rukia and they are blessed with 11 children
He founded Sunrise Services Limited that deals with livestock marketing and tours and travel
He is the founder 0f Muslim Scout Fellowship
