Samburu County Governor:MOSES KASAINE
MOSES KASAINE was in the year born 1976 and is a Kenyan politician. He is the governor of Samburu County, Kenyand went on to join Poro Primary School and Kirisia Secondary Schools before proceeding to Egerton University where he attained Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics.
A number of issues are on his agenda, chief of which are tackling insecurity and cattle rustling, creation of jobs and employment opportunities for the youth, boosting the tourism industry, establishing of more wildlife conservancies, engaging the young-unemployed people as rangers, incorporating the youth in policing forest-cover, developing livestock farming, establishing abattoirs, improving infrastructure and education, constructing early childhood development centres, constructing polytechnics, providing clean drinking water and medical services, equipping farmers with knowledge on drought resistant crops and modern farming methods and water harvesting. In Kenya’s 2013 general election, Moses vied in the gubernatorial elections, winning as Governor of Samburu County, alongside Deputy Governor Joseph Lemarkat. He was elected on a URP party ticket.
