Kiangazi House Naivasha Kenya
Kiangazi House, named after the hot, dry season, is situated in Oserian Wildlife Sanctuary, overlooking the shores of Lake Naivasha. The house was built of local stone and timber, with private lounges, a bar and library, all with fireplaces. It is set in a lush garden of rolling lawns.
There are 2 en~suite double rooms and 1 en-suite twin in the main house, and 2 more en-suite doubles beyond the swimming pool. The rooms are furnished with 4~poster beds and mosquito nets. The restaurant serves international cuisine.
Activities include day and night game drives, game walks, boat trips, ﬁshing, bird walks and horse riding. Bush meals and sundowners are available, as are guided tours of Oserian flower farm. For a surcharge, game drives in Hell’s Gate National Park and Lake Nakuru National Park can be arranged.
Kiangazi House is committed to conservation, and contributes to the management of the 20,000-acre Oseriari Wildlife Sanctuary. Over 45 different species of mammals are found here, including several non-indigenous species that were imported in order to contribute to the survival of their species such as white rhino, Grevy’s zebra and Cheetah. The house is closed 1st to 15th May. Children under 6 are not permitted at Kiangazi House.
Accommodation at Kiangazi House
Built in the old traditional style of local stone and timber, Kiangazi House has three double bedrooms within the main house and two additional double bedrooms just beyond the swimming pool, all en-suite.
Luxurious features like four-poster beds, romantic turndowns and freshly cut roses, all enhance the personal touch. Within the house, the private lounges all have a fireplace that is the perfect places to curl up on a couch with a glass of exquisite wine and really relax.
Activities at Kiangazi House
Take a walk from Kiangazi House down to the lakefront for a chance to stroll amongst the Acacia forest that rings Lake Oloidien, and catch a glimpse of a wide variety of wildlife meandering along in this safe haven. Pamper yourself with an early morning bush breakfasts or take on bush walks, boat trips and fishing for black bass, tilapia and carp on Lake Naivasha.

The afternoon game drives in our private sanctuary provide a great chance to encounter a wide variety of game, and afterwards, unwind with one of our sundowners by the bonfire.

Take a trip to Oserian flower farm that offers guests the unique opportunity to see a fully functioning rose farm, including the production process of various rose varieties and the show room that boasts over 100 different roses.
At Kiangazi house, we can arrange horse riding, balloon safaris and even a visit to one of the local community village centres.
