Kenya National Commission for UNESCO was established in 1964 under the Ministry of Education. It is a liaison office that coordinates the activities of UNESCO in Kenya. In tandem with Vision 2030, the commission coordinates UNESCO organized capacity building of Kenyans in its areas of competence.
